I know L1 and L2 results went out last week. Waiting on my L3 results this Tuesday. Have trip planned to the bar pass or fail.

I thought the same. I remember walking out of 2017 knowing I failed. I have some hope this time.

Are you guys both research analysts for asset managers? CFA seems like the most difficult designation to get in finance, by far.

Keep telling myself I'm going to start studying, but I've not been able to bring myself to do it.

I doubt I will get much use out of it, but I have ample free time & a willing paying employer.

I'm a management consultant who does lots of transaction work and I've thought of moving to the investment side. It's insanely hard and i have an engineering undergrad. The volume of information is just silly.

Btw would you agree that the hardest test is 2 followed by 1 and then 3?

Let's pump the brakes on all the celebrating guys. I also snuck through so they must be letting anyone get it these days.

2 is known as the hardest. It's more straight finance knowledge and computation-oreiented. 3 is less material on paper but they can do so much random crap and come out of left field. The equity section was laughable this year IMO on how far out of left field it was. I felt much more confident walking out of 2 than 3.

I agree. You have to really UNDERSTAND the level 3 material, because you can't just say if X then Y.

I don't remember anything particularly crazy this year, maybe one question. Last year on the other hand...I literally found a question that wasn't in the Schweser material.
