Keep in mind that for a short squeeze to happen there has to be enough buying power and volume to drive it up. I personally would not continue to gamble big money that the masses will align themselves to recreate GME. I also think that the shares shorted as a percentage are much lower than GME.

So when do we get off the ride?
Hold till at least Thursday afternoon.
Forces a lots of the shorts expiring Monday through Thursday morning it appears after doing some reading.
My order I set Friday didn't go through as it ran past the limit I set.
Didn't trigger. Going to try again Monday premarket

Just to play devils advocate for a minute, but I think AMC could actually be bigger than GME. The publicity alone is much higher than when GME started its run. There is a lot more FOMO going on now and people have already seen this system work once so they are more likely to ride out some swings

I might be mistaken, but the short percentage against the float on this is way lower than GME which makes it a lot harder to squeeze. At least to the point where all the covers help drive astronomical growth of the stock price. It'll be an interesting week next week for sure.

You aren’t mistaken at all, it is considerably less shorted. But seems more people are getting involved in AMC due to the lower entry price and increased visibility

Isn’t it still like 85% short

AMC cannot be bigger than what GME is as far as the squeeze goes, I say that as fact, not my opinion. There will never be another GME

I think part of the question on AMC is really a “squeeze” vs just more of a “pump”.
I agree it doesn’t seem to have the same potential for the squeeze. Even the company issued a bunch of additional shares to minimize the potential, right?
However, it could still absolutely benefit from the pump effect of Reddit and the publicity of this whole situation.
Obviously, the ceiling is much lower, but there’s still money to be made. And as with both, there will be those left holding the bag when it’s over.

They don’t like to use the word “pump” but I think to say absolutely that AMC cannot get to GME levels is wrong. No one knows what will happen.
AMC has about 3-5x the daily volume of GME, with only 20M more float. Also has a much more attractive entry price, a high level of shorts, and a week of proof of concept and free advertising driving it.
I very well could be wrong, but to speak in absolutes in this market is dangerous.

I'll take the moon on AMC. Make ZOM hit the moon too.

I’m all I’m on this AMC squeeze! My issue now is the brokerages like Robinhood putting restrictions on buying which will cause the masses to leave. Transfers usually take days if not a week to execute. I’m wondering if this will slow the momentum down? You know the hedge funds thought of this already. My TD Ameritrade account already said I couldn’t use my margin account. If I wanted that’s $30k that could be potentially invested in AMC. How many other accounts could do the same thing, but are now restricted?

I am just wondering if anyone thinks this is a concern?

No, buy the dip (BTFD)! There will be many just have patience, no FOMO

AMC Closing Stock Price Question by oleusakid

If this is money your willing to gamble on (with big potential to make money) then no your not too late. Everything im hearing is this week will have ups and downs early but may take off after a few hours or a few days.
Disclaimer, I have 40K in it and plan to throw another 6-7k at it this week. This is strictly off of profits I have made and am willing to gamble with. My position may be very different than yours. I have separate money with a financial advisor that I don't touch and quite frankly I barely even look at it. I started an account with Fidelity during the market downturn and have done well...much better than letting extra money sit in my checking account.
BLUF: Play with money your willing to lose.
