I’m in Joby since July 2024. Up 41%. If air taxi service ever takes off in the major urban areas like NYC, Joby will dominate that market.

I’ve been in both since January, personally I like JOBY better but most experts like ACHR. I like the potential but it wont be as big as Tesla- like someone else said it’s for big cities.

I used some NBIS and ASTS gains to buy some ARCH for free.

I am in both.. picked them up as spacs and added when they went lower..
Both had similar paths .. different points of govt approvals and test flights.
I forget which one is which but one got deals with airlines .. United I think and then uber.. plan is for people to use uber to go to a lifting center.. there you get off uber and take evtol into airport on city..
Other also has some airline but also went military.. they then tied in with palinter and more recent Anduril ..
I originally bought a few bucks of each.. they are in my unicorn bucket and will be laying around when I die for others .
China and Germany have similar companies.

got in JOBY a few years ago and it has performed really well- wish I didn't get more.
I am in Aviation and therefore get to see how the sausage is made and would consider exiting or holding my positions.
The FAA moves at a glacial pace and certifying autonomous/EVTOL tranport to an extent where it will actually be a viable consumer product is still decades away. 20+ years minimum.
Therefore its a really long pathway to any sort of discernible ROI.

I know an early investor in ARCHR and he wasn't too thrilled about the prospects of it being a viable company (they have exited) when I last spoke to him 2 years ago about it
