Pussification if America. I use my truck about twice a week for hauling or towing.

Sure, triggered by someone insecure in their masculinity and so stupid that they think it’s worth it to buy a second car to save gas a few days a week

Someone is angry in this thread and has to resort to name calling. That would be you. Sit down son.

I asked the perfectly legitimately question of how often you need your truck, and you replied by implying that men who don’t need trucks aren’t real men. The lady doth protest too much, methinks

A couple of people I work with that travel from BR to our worksite every day do this.

Most have bought an early 2000s Toyota Corolla-type car for $5k or under and use that for the roughly 140 miles a day driving. I would imagine insurance for that, with only liability, would be ~$50-75 a month.

Before I moved, I was spending about $600 a month making the commute myself.

ETA: Plus it's way less wear and tear on your personal vehicle.

Trust me if you can find a Early 2000 corolla model with low mileage, buy it. Its worth it.
if you can find one its worth 4k.
Screw what KBB says, they dont live in the real world.
Which is dirt poor louisiana.

I bought a $3500 Toyota Echo for commuting. My $80 payment was less than what I saved in gas from driving my v6. So I actually made money buying an efficient car. My v6 was paid off btw... if I was making two payments, the math wouldn't have worked.
