Zach did great at ball control, throwing. I do not know what got into him but I will take it. Finally looking like a QB. Les for once did not look like a goof and embarrassment. Cannot blame him for asking Miss. K to kick the long field goal rather than accept the penalty.

It's hard to get into a rhythm and get going when your receivers are dropping the ball almost every other pass. They finally started to catch the ball, his confidence went up, then his level of play followed.

Nice shot at Les. You are a goof and embarrassment.

Why are people saying "Finally!" or "What took him so long?". It is his first year as an SEC QB in a run first system. I am proud of him.

Just shows how smart some of our fans are.

It's sad we have become so spoiled. I know it's hard to imagine, there are schools that would kill to have Les. God save us if we ever get rid of him.

LSU simply grew up against Ala. in 2nd half. They are a very young team (chemistry wise) and they are only going to get better. The QB and receivers finally hit their comfort levels and it's at a championship mark RIGHT now. IT was good enough to beat Ala. The special teams (FG's) and defense (late) and coaching (go for the "W" Les!) cost LSU this season. Mett and the receivers are PRIME time for the rest of the season. Give the offensive line and other blockers credit as well. Offense is peaking.....Fun to watch LSU football again! Geaux Tigers!

I still think he hates kids, old people, and dogs. With that benign said, it looks like mett worked on fundamentals over the bye. Better foot work and a quicker release. Future looking up in the passing game

Well what "got into him" was the fact that they finally opened the offense up for him. They dispensed with the 1 receiver routes and spot passes and starting giving him options of check downs so he can start showing off his talent.

Impressed with him after the bye. I think it just took him this long to become comfortable as the starter. He's playing with a great rhythm

Also the WR's are finally helping him out. Only took 2/3 of the season for the stone to break off of their hands.

He has really turned into an excellent QB. 2013 is going to be a great season for LSU.

He's firing on all cylinders. Missed a couple of deep balls, but it looked like the wind may have played a factor.

Been saying that for 4+ years. Lets not forget false starts every other play. Holding every other play. etc...

Plus the worst qb to ever play at LSU in Jordan Jefferson.

Alot of it imo has to do with the offensive line finally starting to gel and build a chemistry. Even better they are mostly young and will be around for a while
