No LSU ties but Louisiana boy. May switch over to that once the Pelicans game is over.

Signed with the Tigers to play QB and was going to pitch as well, but after attending work outs over the summer signed with the Dodgers for #$5 million at the eleventh hour......upset many Tiger fans....

Just gave up 3 run home run to Josh Hamilton, so not a great start for the youngster....

I realize that, but he never did anything at LSU. We don't need to argue over semantics as I'll still be interested in seeing him play.

Well shite

Yep. Didn't "field his position" very well. Looks like he's suffering some "first game jitters" (his first appearance at Dodger Stadium). Did bounce back with a ground ball double play to get out of the second inning with no damage.

He was a Tiger though. Enrolled, went to class, and participated in Spring practice.

He was a tiger. You would have done the EXACT same thing he did.

Yep but his minor league exploits are as relevant to as Colvin and Von Rosenburg's.

Why do you not view Akiem Hicks as a Tiger when he went here?

Enrolled in the university, taking classes, participating in practice just like every TIGER athlete or not was doing and continues to do. He didn't use LSU to leverage a higher dollar. He was ready to be a QB in college until the Dodgers gave him set for life money. He wanted to come here and did. So if he is "hardly" a tiger, so be it. That your opinion. But I think you are wrong. Once a tiger always a tiger, even in this circumstance.
