The offensive line will be much improved. By the end of the year they will be considered one of the better o lines in the conference.

I believe this year will be like 2018. They will have some high highs and low lows but will set LSU up to be competing for SEC and National championships in 2023.

I'm worried about Brian Kelly's 10 year contract. Don't get me wrong, I love the hire right now, but man, that is a long contract. If it doesn't work out and the next few seasons suck, what would we do? Anybody got 60-70 million for a buyout? I didn't think so.

Our running game will be horrible this year and we will have to pass more than we want to which will lead to turnovers and more losses than anyone is willing to accept.

Really hope I’m wrong.

Les Miles was a terrible coach and, LSU won games in spite of him.

I think the O line will struggle. I hope Im wrong, but we are starting a true freshman at LT, and he will have his growing pains. A LG transfer from a directional school, and newly minted center who was a reserve player on a bad line last year. A RG who hasnt been able to break the starting lineup through 2 years of bad line play and a RT who was an afterthought until Rosenthal left.

I think LSU passed on MB, who we know is an accomplished QB, because the staff knew there was no way to have success unless the QB could run for his life.

I think the kicking game will cost us a game or two this season.

Too many new faces - coaches and players.
How long will it take for this team to gel?
Losing 2 running backs - 3 for the first 2 games.
JD's accuracy
Is the secondary up to the task
BK doesn't appear to be very impressed with the OL and keeps moving the pieces around.

Accuracy was not JD’s issue at Arizona State. It was decision making at times and lack of weapons.

He still completed 65 percent of his passes last season.

It's going to take Brian Kelly a few years to clean up the Ed O mess.

Offense will resemble more Les Miles than anything after he left. I think LSU fans will quickly get annoyed with how conservative it is and how we don't blow out inferior opponents, opting instead for ball control and leaning in with our lines to slow everything down.

I really hope I'm wrong.

There is nothing about Kelly or Denbrock’s offenses to back your theory.

Offense will show to be more conservative than people think

Judging by your upvotes, that is an extremely popular opinion.

Our defensive line is not as good as our fans think it is. We have great talent on that unit, but the center piece is Maason Smith, who I think will be a top 5 pick, but he still has developing to do. I think it will prove to be a good unit but not great. As such, I think fans will be disappointed.

I could see our d line not being elite against the run. I think we are missing a Neil Farrell type of guy.

Brennan was our best QB.

I think people will complain about playcalling no matter what we do. There’s no satisfying most football fans unless we have a repeat of 2019

People will quickly forget how bad things were when Kelly took over and expect him to win 10-11 games this year

I didn't mean it'll be I-formation and running toss dives, but we will ground and pound more and we will play ball control more than we have recently. It will feel slow compared to the last few years of Orgeron.

Kelly's offenses at Notre Dame were not electric. They were effective when he had the right pieces in place, but they were not high flying.

As someone else posted, I think Ali Gaye is probably just average. Great heart and hustle, leader in the locker room, great body type, but kind of stiff and slow and seems to be in the wrong place sometimes by over pursuing, etc.

I think a big portion of the hype around our DL involves him anchoring one side and I think he'll get picked on.

I think BJ and Maason are first rounders though.
