You either know them or must follow her TikTok/SM.
But the affair part is not true. She had communicated to her husband her decision to separate much prior to even meeting Schroyer at that event referenced.
She was also not a member of the university’s media or a sports writer during the time they met. She was & still is an editor for a small local magazine company. Almost positive she covers more about food & small business than any sport(s).
Maybe write to her and ask her to clear up the facts, herself, but what you’ve put out is bad information and be careful with that. It’s without question you can ruin someone by saying things like that which are not true. You wouldn’t want someone to do that to you.

Glad to hear your side Heath.
If this isn’t Heath then its the woman

The detail and length of the posts…..my money is on it being the woman.

I don't know either one of them but the person who relayed that knows them both personally. The woman for a very long time apparently. And the word he used was affair.
You provided anecdotes and so are these. Take them for what you will. But even the hint of impropriety isn't something we need in Baton Rouge.

Have not once asked for this. Woodward was literally a good AD. This is going to backfire tremendously.
I did not say you were one of those people. I was agreeing with your post.

Take it how you want. I’m not here pretending to break any news. He’s impulsive and hard to work with to the point he wants to have a say in who is on the field from what I’ve heard. McNeese football was improving significantly recently then the coach is fired after only a couple years.
And it doesn’t appear Matt Viator is going to re-conjure the old magic.

President - Robert “Bobby” Robbin’s look at his resume…
F no.

Robert Robbins
Robbins, a physician, left his leadership role at the University of Arizona in spring 2024 amid a significant budget crisis. A miscalculation of the amount of cash the school had on hand led to a $177 million deficit, from which it finally emerged this fall.
Rousse
quote:
When asked about his strategy to propel LSU to the top 50 public research universities in the country, Rousse questioned whether it was truly a priority for the university. He said he would meet with faculty everyday for 30 days after taking office to determine how important it is to them.
Rousse added he wanted to be given four or five key goals from the Board of Supervisors. If attaining top-research status was among them, he would put together a team to promote research.
Just kind of a nothing answer. Seems like he intends on figuring it out as they go.
Like I mentioned. Dalton is the clear frontrunner for me.

Dr. Wade Rousse has zero experience managing an R1 university.

Didn't realize Brooks already said no. I agree, especially with revenue share starting, the next AD needs to come from a major university who is used to dealing with a budget of LSU's size.
He said no because he was never officially asked.
What do you expect him to do when there are rumors swirling around that he is a candidate to be the LSU AD? Put out a statement that says, as soon as they ask I will be out of here?

Josh Brooks has already made it clear—he is not pursuing this position. Though I do agree he would make for a solid choice.
Do you expect him to publicly say that he is pursuing other opportunities when he has no idea if LSU will even reach out to him?
Like come on man
Would you tell your employer that you are actively looking for other jobs?
Posted on 11/1/25 at 7:46 pm to SWTiger81
The McNeese guy has the job and it’s been his the whole time. The board and committee is in the governors pocket. Of all the people in the world, we are grabbing somebody from McNeese State. There’s plenty of great AD options out there. We shall see if the new president is allowed to pick a competent AD. Not optimistic.

Austin Thomas should get a look at the AD role. From all accounts, he's sharpened his fundraising skills over the years. He has Johnson, Mulkey, Shaver, Beth at his disposal, so the ease of the role should come on leaning on those veteran coaches to be good at their jobs. Rev share should also make things a bit easier as well.
There would be a familiarity with the top donors and AT, the football staff, support staff, and coaches.

I don’t disagree with your sentiment. But I would venture to guess that very few people if anyone knows them personally. I was providing insight into who they are as people, which nobody can do for any of the other candidates or even personally vouch for them with over 35 years of friendship. I challenge you to find something negative about Wade since he’s been running college campuses.

You mean like William Tate? Tate was the first LSU president to have no presidential experience since the 1972 hire. I’m not saying Rousse is qualified but he at least has presidential experience which Tate never had.
Posted on 11/1/25 at 9:55 pm to Sofaking2
Tate was VP and Provost at South Carolina and served as the chief academic officer of USCe.

Thomas has his eyes set on NFL GM, not D1 AD.

So we’d rather pour more money for what’s uncertain? Sounds government.

It scares me that dipshits are advocating for someone so unqualified to be our AD. That means it’s already been decided and you guys are shills for the gov and soon to be lsu president.
