Why do people still even use this excuse? Have you not been properly notified about the amount of games played today against how many games were usually played?

Les Miles has been guaranteed 13 games every season his entire time at LSU. Nick Saban was the only other coach to get that many games, and he only got that many games 2 out of his 5 years. No other coach before Les Miles was able to coach 13 games a season.

Why is this significant you ask? Because it clearly shows Les Miles has far more opportunities to win 10 games each season, and more opportunities than any coach ever in the history of LSU. In fact, every coach at every school is getting these opportunities as well, so its neither unique or special in the present day, but it gives him a very big advantage amongst former LSU coaches in terms of the amount of wins.

Charlie McClendon coached 134 games his first 11 years at LSU.

Les Miles after the bowl game will have coached 144 games at LSU his first 11 years.

That's 10 more games. McClendon finished with 9 wins in 5 seasons, including a season in which he finished 9-1 in 1969, and even received no bowl game invitation.

SO stfu about the 10 wins bullshite. He's received at least 3 absolute gimmes every season.

This is just fantasy being peddled by those in on the CFP scam. LSU barely has a chance of being .500 next season. I think someone pointed out Auburn's position last year was the same as ours now. But go ahead, piss away more of your money into the capitalistic monstrosity that College football has become. LES is in kill the clock mode now. He and his staff/drinking buddies are laughing their asses off at this right now.

It was Alabama, bud. I'd say giving then good odds to win the title this year was pretty much spot on. Next year they're predicting the same for LSU. if you think college football's a scam, stop supporting the product.

Let's see what the odds are after the deadline for underclassmen to enter the NFL draft has passed.

They are predicting. WE are predicting .500, maybe 7-5, heck maybe even 8-4. This is NOT where LSU should be at. Quit deluding yourself. The only way a team can have the facilities and talent we do and not be in CFP contention is because the idiots and crooks at the top who are in it to collect paychecks.

You are insufferable. We love high expectations, which are a reflection of the talent on the team. What upsets us is having said expectations and then having results on the field like Arkansas and Ole Miss again and again, then doing absolutely nothing to try and change the approach. But go ahead, keep defending incompetence.

and exactly how many SANE people had LSU going to the natty pre-season the past 2 seasons???

I think this odds chart is a screen shot of odds earlier this year, before we lost a game. 2016 National championship is in about 4 weeks. I don't think this is for the 2016-2017 season.

Before this year started, every ranter on here said 2016 was the year anyway. And they also predicted a 10-2/9-3 season. Now doom and gloom have taken over.

How about we try to win a game against fricking Arkansas? If and when that happens, then maybe we can turn our attention to Alabama, then eventually start thinking about championships. In our current state, we aren't equipped even to think about any kind of championship, let alone bet on one.

Aren't you the dumbass that said LSU won't have a winning season for the next 5 years?
