bullshite...I think the newspaper of the day he and his father attended the game together is kick arse and will mean a great deal to him one day when his father is no longer with him.

Also, I think the other stuff was also pretty cool if you have a house one day with a media room or a man cave, all that shite will be nice to have.

That's exactly how my garage turned into what it is. I have held onto things since I was in high school. (I have the original TP front page from the 97 FL game). Had LSU stuff all over my walls and little nick nacks all over my room at my parrengs. All of the Baseball prints I have sat in the tubes underneath my bed at my parents and at my house in college. I had been asked many of times to "pitch some of that crap" Fast forward almost 20 years latter, and well you get my garage. I actually have an old throw rug with mike on it and Louisiana state on the top. I had been asked why I wanted to keep that by a few people. It's hanging on the wall now.

I had most of this outfitting the walls in my apartment and the. Came marriage. We bought the house and I was told it wasn't a bachelor pad and couldn't hang it up. Sooooooooooo I built this Garage

Wife has asked me many of times was I crazy. I guess she thought I was going to throw it all away. I love loop holes

Thanks. I live 34 miles from Mich State, really poor fans. Have big Mich complex. I just wonder how you get in a bowl game with a 6 and 6 record.

I'll bet right about now you are freezin' your arse off

My dad got it for me for Christmas a couple years ago. He found one for himself a year earlier.

Mine is the silver one, his is gold (story we heard is the Sergeants wore the gold ones)

Here is the one my dad has:

He found both of them on eBay. He also found one for the '07 BCS game too. Doesn't look like the one I pictured though, looks like a regular badge, not a NOPD badge.

This is the one from the '07 BCSCG:

I honestly do not know why people buy all this stuff. What do you honestly do with it? I wouldn't know.

Nice. I don't have a big collection, but the prized item is the program from Pete Maravich's last game at the Ag Center. I also have a unique pennant from LSU's Final Four appearance in '86.

Honestly it sits on the walls/shelves. every now and then we get drunk and put on the helmets

I guess its like a hobby. Some people collect cars, some people collect baseball cards, some people collect stamps. Its something that Im interested in. what do people who collect stamps do with the stamps? they stick them in a book and put them on the shelf. Most of the stuff I have as well as the people in this post have their items displayed.
