Me and Chuck M saw Rudy Macklin at Jerry World in 2010 for the Oregon game and he was very gracious, taking pictures with us and listening to us babble on about how great we thought he was.

Great guy.

eta: Saw Billy Cannon on sidelines before the Ole Piss game a few years ago. Asked him to sign my ticket stub. Sonofabitch never gave me back my Sharpie.

After LSU beat Texas in the Sweet 16 me and two of my friends went to greet the team as they got off the bus right in front of the PMac. After the crowd kind of left, Stromile Swift and Jabari looked lost and couldnt find Stromiles Ford Expedition or Explorer. I offered to take them to their apt. I drove a single cab mazda B2500 with a stick shift. Jabari made Stro sit in the back with my other two friends. His knees were damn near touching my windshield. We were bumping Goodie Mob since Jabari was from the A-town. When we dropped em off we all shook hands, they said thanks and seemed really appreciative. We asked Stro if he was coming back next year and he said he was..... but he didn't.

Another story, my first ever football game that I coached was against Tommy Hodson and Mickey Guidry with St. Jude. I was coaching St. Louis King of France. It was like 5th grade football. These guys were sending in plays with hand signals, the QB was calling audibles. Needless to say we got drummed by 50.

I was leaving Kirby Smith and walking to class on that sidewalk and coming straight towards me was none other than Shaquille O'Neal. He looked at me, and said what's up, and I said what's up. Very cool moment I'll never forget.

I played the litterbug in a series of anti-littering commercials starring Bert Jones, Tommy Cassanova and Hokie Gajan.

Met Shaq a bunch (I was in the Shaq Pack) he really was cool and always talked to us before the games. Shaq drove an Explorer with no front seats, it was funny as shite to see.

Nicest LSU athlete I've ever met is Big Herm. Dude is fricking funny and just a real nice guy. Partied with him a couple times.

Got totally posterized by Chad Loup. Vicious two handed dunk and I went to the floor. He was cool though and didn't talk shite.

Todd Kinchen is a total douche bag and deserved the busted lip he got. That is all.

I tore up my knee playing pick up ball at the rec like 3 days before my first semester at LSU. Spent a few weeks on crutches while still trying to get a handle on class locations and all.

I was crutching west through the quad coming up on Allen and Dodson while looking down trying to read something I had in my hand when two large black hands grabbed me by the shoulders. Apparently I very nearly crutched into Booger McFarland.

He was super cool about it all. He got me steered in the right direction, asked about my knee and wished me a speedy recovery.

All in all, very cool dude. Would nearly crutch into him again. 10/10

Had many an enjoyable experience with former Tigers but none really entertaining or worthy of sharing.

Worst is actually an indirect story to share involving Stevan Ridley. A friend of mine's sister is a former golden girl. Well one night about a year ago she was out at Bogie's and hanging out with a group of people that included Ridley. Well, she was sitting on the front of Ridley's Camaro, as in the very front of the car, feet on the ground, etc. Apparently Ridley later accused her of denting the hood to his Camaro and requested she reimburse him the $300 it took to "fix" it. Well, he was unable to provide any proof of the dent whatsoever. Later he produced some sketchy proposed estimate, not a paid invoice. We later found out he had the entire hood replaced with a custom hood. Ridley also threatened to bring legal action to recoup the $300. Bear in mind that this all went down after his rookie season in the NFL so it's not like he was hurting for money. Dude was an employed NFL player pressing a former golden girl for $300.

Hung around Kinchen at a tailgate party this year. He was with some people we know and seemed like a good guy. I could definitely see how it was just a front due to the situation though.

The best one I have revolves around Shaq. I met him and saw Tiger in the same day at the Windermere Isleworth neighborhood in Orlando. My uncle ran lines for ATT and is a really cool guy. We show up at the gate, he flashes the Employee ID, and they let him right in. When we pull up to the front of Shaq's house he goes watch this. Rings the buzzer, tells him its Paulie, and the gate opens. Shaq comes out of his house and we shoot the shite with him for like 35 minutes in his garage from cribs. Coincidently I was wearing LSU stuff so it made for easy conversation.

Apparently my uncle met him at a Club in downtown Orlando during the early 90's and used to stop by here and there to go say hi. Shaq said he liked my uncle cause he was a 5'8" but not scared of anyone. All I could do was laugh.

Before the 1900 LSU vs Texas A$M game, I was taling gating with a bunch of friends. Shaquille O'Neal was walking by going to the game. I waived him over. We were all pretty tore up on beer and liquor. We joked that he was needed on the football field. He was very humble, gracious and shook every one of our drunk arses hands. He thanked us for the offer of food and refershments and went about his way. I will never forget how humble and well mannered he was. One of my all time favorite Tigers
