I said Bama for the past 10 years. Then when I said something about Lsu/Bama being big rivals, he looked at me and said maybe in LSU fans eyes. That year we got are arse handed to us.

I can respect that. That is why I threw in the last part of my post. I get it that for some, football is all they really care about or prioritize the most, which certainly skews how you view the other schools.
I for one pull for LSU regardless of the sport and want to see us succeed in them all, as well as watch and cheer for us in all of them. Thus the reason for my argument on Florida.

LSU has like 4 or 5 rivals. I don’t think it matters who’s the biggest. Florida’s up there for sure.

Bs, go look up the definition of a rival. The sec west teams and UF are our rivals by definition.
They do seem to be able to compete and be better than us at times with the overall athletic program. So, they stand in our way every season with every sport.

, a rival is not something that changes with success of one or the other programs...ie Tulane and Ole Miss. LSU seems pre occupied with wanting rivalries....they have them, but they dont want the ones that they have.
Hell, if it wasnt for the mysteries of permanent opponents we would not know UF existed most years. That is not a rival.

UF and LSU play every single year, they’re usually highly ranked, it and Texas/OU are always the most hyped games of the week, and the teams don’t like each other. Sounds like a rival to me.

I'm more of the mindset of yes. Series is closer to even than any other, along with being one of the longer standing matchups we have. We're tied up the past two decades. Add in the increased animosity the past few years with the ghost hurricane and the 2017 CWS, the argument is easy to put them as our biggest rival currently.
But that's what's so different with LSU, our biggest rival constantly evolves.

fricking Auburn came here and lit cigars on the 50 in our house. I fricking hate Auburn. Now don’t get me wrong. frick Florida with a rusty wirebrush until they bleed to death. frick Bama and ole piss can go to hell. Mississippi State can shove their cow bell up their fat asses and Arkansas can go back to humping their sisters. Now aTm is a different beast. I cant stand those queer little arrogant arse clowns. I rejoice every time they lose. I despise them but Auburn is a special kind of hate. Any way we can disrespect Auburn and crush their souls is something that should be prioritize. To me, Auburn is it. The most hated of all teams. I never wish for a player to get hurt but I want every Auburn player to leave in tears, scared to death at the pain our boys are pouring on their arrogant fricking asses. To me, Auburn is it.
