Than from Pearson to Milam to Hernandez. We don’t have a chance to get to the 10th and an opportunity to win without a perfect transition JP to Milam and a perfect throw and catch by Milam to Hernandez, who was well positioned in the baseline. I know it’s early season, but that was a huge play to give LSU the opportunity to get the W. And great to see Pearson come through big in the 10th with go ahead RBI.

In person it was insane watching from behind home plate, one of the best if not the best I plays I have seen in person. I thought the game was over.

In an interview after the game the K ST HC said ------

quote:

Kansas State coach Pete Hughes said that the runner, sophomore Dee Kennedy, blew past the stop sign from the third base coach on his way home. But Kennedy's speed still meant that Pearson and Milam had to make perfect throws to get him out. "If we're going to screw up in our program, it's going to be at 100 miles an hour," Hughes said. "... Make them make a play."

That shite was awesome. Milam had a slight hesitation and still gunned him down

In fact, the relay in the DVU game that did not get our guy was a better relay

Awesome play! We do not win if Pearson does not get the ball off the hop and he throws a strike to Milam. Pearson can play some outfield!

I was there, it was an A+ executed relay.

On top of that , Dickson dive saved the game again.

2 great plays in a row.

CJJ in his post game presser gave credit to Pearson's speed for getting to the ball that fast in the first place. And he's always said Milam has the best arm on the team.

It wasn’t quite Tre Morgan in the CWS, but it was pretty damn good. If we play defense like that this year, Omaha here we come.

I was thinking the same.

Dickinsin also saved the game the very next play

DD has flashed some leather this year at the keystone

Milam's arm from the short stop position has been one of the bigger surprises for me this year...The double play earlier in the game he turned running full speed at first was thing of beauty as well..

In person I thought there was no way he was getting the runner out at home. It seemed like the guy was half way down the 3rd baseline when Milam got it out of his glove. It was unbelievable
