I'd argue Daniels and not close at all. He was a better college QB IMO. Burrow isn't going to get you 150 yards rushing.

There’s so much wrong with this post lol

This is one of those feelings over facts things. If we ask you why Burrow has the edge you can't justify it

Burrow.

Daniels is a dynamic playmaker but seems to be more reliant on running the plays as called.

Burrow basically ran the offense himself with the presnap checks and audibles.

This all day. Burrow knew what the D was going to do before they did.

Burrow picked defenses apart and ran only if he needed to or only certain designs ed plays. More times than none he didn’t need to run plus he read the defense well before the defense even knew what it was going to do.
Your boy, regardless of what you think or say, was and is always be run first and then maybe throw.

Oh, and Joe captained the best team in college football history and won the heisman AND a national championship.

Facts over feelings but most people with a brain know why your “feelings” and only reason you choose daniels. GTFO of here with your nonsense.

Burrow, but I’d be happy with either. We’ve been blessed recently after decades of being in QB hell.

It's spelled Burrows. But this is a disrespectful question.

They are both pretty good, I think burrow made the whole team better though with his personality. I would never bet against joe.

Burrow spread the ball around a hell of a lot better. Daniels relied heavily on Nabers and Thomas.

2019:
84, 111, 55, 47, 46 catches by 5 players
20, 8, 13, 4 TD catches by 4 players

2023:
86, 60, 29, 24 catches by top 4 players.
14, 15, 7 TD catches by top 3 players. No other player with more than 1.

Even if you count for the fact that 2019had 15 games, there are stil 5 players with more catches per game than the 3rd best player in 2023.

Both are amazing, but Burrow got a lot more people involved by far in the passing game and that is where he has the edge. Daniels adds the running element, but it think the better use of more weapons would open up the offense like we saw with Burrow.

I would say Daniels running abilities are more impressive than Burrow's ability to spread the ball around. Daniels could have spread the ball around more but there is no way Burrow is running like Daniels.

2023 offense was more efficient with even less opportunity compared to 2019 based off the numbers.

You could argue he had better options after his first 2 as well. Clyde was very important to the 2019 offense. But we're splitting hairs here. They were both elite college players. I'd take Daniels just because of his running ability. Burrow was also a solid runner

Actually not an easy answer. Next year's team doesn't have the proven WR talent as 19' or 23' so I'm leaning JD5 to get 1.2k yards rushing.

And the Number one pick in the NFL Draft is, JOE BURROW, QB, LSU

Jalen Daniels had a fantastic year, but Joe is the GOAT, end of story.

Daniels had a higher passer rating in 2023 (208.01) than Burrow in 2019 (201.96).

Daniels had a higher yards per attempt in 2023 (11.7) than Burrow in 2019 (10.8)

Daniels had more total yards per game in 2023 (412.2) than Burrow in 2019 (402.6).

Both QBs had a 10-1 TD to INT ratio.

Does next season have Joe Brady's offense. No. Daniels.

Does next season have Mike Denbrock's offense. Yes. Daniels.

Does next season have Chase, Jefferson, or Moss? No. Daniels.

Does next season have a Joe Moore Award offensive line? Maybe. Either.

Does next season have Clyde Edwards-Helaire? No. Daniels.

Daniels.

If Burrow is a 100/100 at throwing then JD is at least a 95/100. JD’s running puts him over the top
