He’d walk into 2-3 years of starting on a loaded team with a offensive line that has played together for 2-3 years and having mastered the playbook all he has to do is beat out nuss. He doesn’t think he can

I think Walker probably did not want to leave LSU. I would bet his dad Jamie Howard is basically managing the whole thing. It’s sad when parents can’t let kids make their own decisions.

Joe burrow waited until the senior qb graduated. Was the scout team qb and learned the playbook.
Competed with a first round draft pick and lost the competition graduated and moved on.
To compare the two situations is idiotic

True! I don't remember who was ahead of Lawrence.
Personally, I would have given Nuss a chance mid season.
However, running third team, running the scout team, didn't give Howard much of an opportunity to develop.
He probably made the best decision for his career.
It won't affect LSU. We have Nuss and two other very talented QBs coming in.
