And if we had even a semi-limited number of injuries to our pitching staff we would have easily reached that number.

Oh that's nice. Glad to see you are no longer crying about the baseball team.

Pretty solid position to be in considering the injuries. The SEC is a meat grinder

Our bats still have gone very cold at times. Happy with the way were playing right now though.

18-12 isn't a bad year, but it's too bad they couldn't get their shite together in time to avoid a play-in game in the SECT. Could easily be one-and-done in Hoover.

That will happen to every single baseball team.

ETA: Then again, I forgot about some of the midweek atrocities.

If ifs and butts were candy and nuts . We will finish 3rd at best in the West . Damn you pm lovers are desperate

You can downvote all you want but this team isn’t winning anything worth getting excited about and PM won’t win another NC at LSU that’s all that matters.

We lost our Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starter during the season. Name me one program that would fire their HC after losing so many pitchers to injuries and still has a chance to be 18-12 in the best fricking division in college baseball.

Oh we lost our starters . Why are we relying on freshman to be our starters. hell does it matter, PM couldn't do shite with Nola and Gausman as starters .

Well, that settles it. Call Scott Woodward and tell him that there's no need to play out the rest of the season.

took 22 to win the regular season this year.... I think. I saw the standings earlier but I wasn't closely paying attention.

Wtf ? So don’t rely on your best players to be starters? Guess we should have never relied on Nola, Lange, or Gausmann to be starters.

You’re a fricking clown

Since we did LSU get excited about making or hosting a regional ? It’s amazing how the expectations have fallen. They weren’t all freshman at the same time dumbass . We had a staff that had experience. Of course once again what did Guasman or Nola win at LSU?

I’ll probably go down south to watch a game or two at the regional. Where will you be? Probably getting upset on the Rant again and not supporting the baseball team

I'm someone that knows you like to call out posters for their negativity when things are going well, but I also know you have been melting like the people you are now calling out for the past few weeks.

Did I say we should be excited?

I simply said we shouldn't give up on the season. Perhaps you responded to the wrong person.

Hasn’t Vanderbilt won 22 with one to play? Look LSU, if they ever get healthy, may be dangerous in the postseason. Still, the team has underachieved this year. CPM’s worst season here. If we make it to Omaha I’ll still make the trek up there. Just disappointed the way this year has unfolded. I understand the arm problems but this is one of the worst hitting teams in a long time. Plus, how do you not have any left handed pitchers. Forget the injury to our one left hander. Where are the others? It seems we face 4-6 lefties each weekend plus every midweek game is against one.

But geaux Tigers and I’ll be there to support you till the season ends

sorry I expect more than getting excited about hosting a regional .

It’s not PMs worst season here . He has had several disappointing seasons

Do you attend the LSU games when we host a regional? I do. And it’s always exciting.
