Defense needs to be on their game if not they will move the ball and put some points up. Syracuse really is no slouch.

They run Quick Tempo. I hope Aranda has a good game plan.

A team who gets blown out by Middle Tennessee is not worthy of respect, IMHO.

Honestly LSU has a lot of depth problems thanks to injuries, suspensions and departures. That said, if Etling plays just a mediocre game LSU beats the Orange pretty easily. They're not a good team

Any team is going to run at us. We're depleted in the trenches. Plus Cuse is an inferior team and running shortens the game.

Aranda should go with a 3-3-5 and use safeties for run support.

Well no, they're going to give their all, but to say they'll beat LSU on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium is quite a stretch.

I think LSU has a good evening on special teams and creates a few turnovers

I never said they would beat us, just saying we need to come prepared

I wouldn't blame them. We did exactly squa-douche to stop State from gashing us up the middle and off tackle.

Don't be shocked if they do lose. Nothing shocks me with the cookie monster as the head coach. imo wins but good gosh that Troy game is a TRAP Game.

There's 4/5 DL ready for Syracuse. 2-4-5 is the only way to go.

All hell breaks loose if we lose to the Orangemen. Highly doubt we lose to them.

I guess we'll see if this team quits, or plays.

With the injuries and suspended players, there is not much Aranda can do to make adjustments. We are lacking some serious depth in the front seven so you can't scheme to make your defense less tired against a hurry up offense. Maybe we can try and run a 3-3-5/3-4-4 but then you run the risk of your DBs or thin group of LBs getting hurt taking on FBs, lineman, and TEs.

If there was ever a game in the recent history of LSU where we needed our offense to sustain long scoring drives, this is it. However, Guice is nicked, Williams is questionable, the Oline is struggling, Etling shakes under pressure, and the WRs can't catch a cold.

Do most of you think Syracuse is going to come in Death Valley and roll over because we are LSU? Do any of you remember the Syracuse game in 2015? I am not saying we are going to lose, but this is going to be a tough rebound game for the Tigers.
