Take the top 5 pick money

If he decides to stay one more year at LSU it has to be 100% on him

All I can say is Geaux Tigers - the man will become one of the all-time great Tigers !!!

If he goes pro - which of course is what I would be telling my son - go make your money but if he decides what he wants to do out weights the money - Geaux Tigers!

He's not gonna be a top 5 pick, prob 10-20 range mainly because of his position.

Beating a dead horse.

- He will still be a top 10/5 pick next year
- Get the degree
- Win a Natty for your state
- Same amount of time in the NFL either way

He’s the #3 overall prospect. Given he’s at MLB, that means he may drop to 5-10 but outside of unforeseen circumstance that’s as low as he’ll go

Not if he gets hurt. LB is a violent position.

LSU isn't winning a Natty next year or any year with Ed Orgeron as HC.

I work for the sheriff's office in Webster parish and have spoke to close family members and they all still didn't know yesterday what he was going to do but I can confirm he told them he really wants to stay but the family is obviously urging him to go. I think most of the family said what they had to say and took a step back to let him decide on his own. Webster parish has no answers. Sorry

Justin Herbert could have been paid as well. Not everyone is motivated solely by money.

I'll be surprised if he stays but can certainly understand why he would want to.

Incorrect on so many levels.

To elaborate...staying one more year in college doesn't shorten his life span in the NFL. Contrary to popular belief a player doesn't just have X amount of seasons to play football. His career length will be his career length regardless of his amount of time in college.

Appreciate all he has done for LSU, but anywhere in the first round he should go.
Anyone who believes otherwise should think about how long it would take for a normal middle class worker to make his signing bonus alone.

Why are some of you so confident that is the right decision for him ? it is a very personal decision. I bet you same people can't make the easy right decisions in your own life.

Walter Camp Mock has him going #7 WC

CBS Mock has him going #11 CBS

NBC Mock has him going #11 NBC

SB Nation has him going #11 SB Nation

Sporting News has him going #11 Sporting News

So yea, 10-20 range is about what he is looking at
