It does not look that way now. Time will tell, but Ensminger is definitely not what folks had in mind when "the best coordinators: was promised.
I honestly don't blame people for being upset, but all of the hate and chicken little melts are ridiculous. That's what the rant is so I have been told, though. I have learned to just enjoy it for what it is. I'm not going to convince anyone here of anything. I just come here purely for entertainment now.

The main issue with the masses is what is seen as the apparent dishonesty in finding the best coordinators. Have they/we always complained on some level? absofrickinglutely......this, however, is a very valid concern.
I can tell you this, if this recruiting class flops (adjusting for a down year in LA), things will get worse.

Scotch is nasty and Cohibas vastly overrated......I do appreciate his frustration with the masses. I guilty of being sucked in at times.

My comment had nothing to do with Wade.
I like Wade, a LOT. He coaches up, he's positive and a great motivator, and without question the program is trending up.
But he was getting hammered on this board earlier in the year, and will again if he doesn't live up to what the fickle expectations of this board might be at any particular point in time in the future.

there is a portion of the fanbase who bitched even about Saban, I won't deny that.
That having been said, you're making it sound like a much bigger group than it is, and those upset now are a much, much larger group than what you're talking about.
The vast majority of fans just want LSU to do everything they can to win within reason and to make a serious effort to modernize the offense. Neither of those things are happening right now.

Orgeron, on the other hand, does not have the emotional make up to be a HC. He is insecure and infantile. Further, just what is his claim to fame or stock-in-trade as a football man? Coaching the Dline? OK, but he seems to know little else. He should have 0 input to the offense. He ran off Canada after one year. He is a joke and he makes LSU look foolish. This is not whining, this is a clear-eyed view of the state of LSU football.

I always start my day with Dandy Don then Tiger Rant. DD gives you great info while TR gives you many people gripes. Miles was canned because he claimed to have his lesson about the offense, but four games the next year. we saw the same "two yards & a cloud of dust". Coach O & Coach E and the rest of the staff took over & did a remarkable job. Coach O did get one of the upcoming offensive coordinators (Canada). PROBLEM - See resume. Record shown one year at most jobs. Unable to get along with the staffs. If you don't fit it with the other coaches, its a lost cause. In every job, the boss has the final say & if you don't like it = theres the road. New OC.--Coach E did a great job last year. He's a former player & alumni of LSU. He has earned (as a favor to Coach Or not). IT:S NOT YOUR CALL. Coach O will have to live with it. I'm a season ticket holder and will continue to be there.
