Ehh aren't they trying to secure a top 8?

This question confirms what most of us already knew. Coming into the tournament they were listed in many places as the #1 overall seed. So you are clearly clueless and are just spouting off nonsense.

Yea I never said they wanted to lose. But can we not kid ourselves? If the outcome does not matter then it will affect the level of effort. This is just common sense.

c'mon man, its baseball. Comparing today's game to a day before is nearly useless.

Baseball can’t be judged game to game. It’s crazy.

On any given day, no matter what the pundits say, any team regardless of its standing can be beaten or a winner of any other team! Its BASEBALL!

I think most know these games are meaningless for seeds 1-4.

Feels like a lot of talking in circles and being argumentative for shits and giggles.

Welcome to the Rant, I suppose.

Speaking of spouting off nonsense. Remember this thread Holman is not a friday night guy.

Is Holman still our Friday night starter?

In that exact thread I said he would be better suited starting Saturdays for us. I also made a point to say I wasn't knocking him, or saying he wasn't have a great season. It was more knowing what jump was capable of, and zero saying Holman sucked. I wouldn't expect you the comprehend that though, nor would I expect you to be honest and point out those facts in your "gotcha" post.

And all this because you got your feelings hurt for not knowing Kentucky had 22 SEC wins and was a national seed.

He's sure as hell good enough to be a friday starter, as long as we hit behind him. The strategy to throw jump/herring on friday has nothing to do with Holman's inabilities. The idea to throw Holman on Saturday is to better guarantee us a win since we had been struggling as a team. Holman is still our ace.

You literally said "his stuff does not play against elite hitters". If we had anywhere close to the relief pitching we thought we'd have he would 100% still be pitching fridays.

He has the 3rd best era in the SEC and has pitched more innings than Hagen Smith or Ryan Prager. But he's not good enough to be a friday night guy

The fact you're still trying to walk that thread back is wild. Just admit you sometimes say stupid nonsense.

Yes. He has had a great season. You could tell watching Jump earlier that he had more "Friday night stuff." That is who I wanted going against SEC aces. Saying Holman needed to be on Saturdays for this team to be successful wasn't a knock on Holman. It was pointing out what I thought this team needed to do to win more games, and I was 100% correct.

JJ echoed himself exactly what I said about Jump. He has absolute MLB stuff. That doesn't take a single thing away from Holman, but I'm not surprised dumb arse people can't comprehend that. You can also sit here and pretend that Jump hasn't been every bit of a Friday night stud all you want, but the truth is we aren't anywhere near this spot if he hadn't come on like he has.

My opinions aren't always correct. But Jump is a better pitcher than Holman. I still don't believe at all I was wrong in thinking that. We have two aces on this team, and I think Jump is the better of the two.

But all you are doing is trying to deflect away from the point that you looked like a complete fool saying all the crap you did in this thread, without realizing Kentucky was 22-8 and firmly a top 8 national seed. And sadly, the argument you are trying to flip the tables on just further proves how dumb you actually are.
