Y’all really thought we’d get Underwood?

He was using us to get a check. He’s probably had an agent since he was 14. Now there’s zero chance Sloan keeps his job

If this is true, why use dirt poor lsu as the leverage sucker rather than a school with heavy assets like TAMU or Oregon?

Commitments dont mean anything until they sign. And with the portal even signing doesn't mean much.

Because LSU football is a huge brand. We paid subpar cbk 100 million. We have money we just mismanaged it.

Seems like I always get suckered back into believing a top recruit actually means what he says. I need to stop. I believed he was different being a QB and committed so long. I believed him when he said money was not on his mind.

This really stings. I think I'll join the negative crowd next time we have a top recruit getting a lot of interest elsewhere.

I really hate what this has become. Rooting for our favorite schools to spend the most money possible.

While I understand that he's an 18 year old 5* player, he seemed to have been more on board with LSU in the last year or so.

What ticks me off is that he's going to get paid a ton of money before he even plays one down of college football and he said it was "never about money."

I do think he played LSU. I don't know who exactly to point the finger at but he and his family were sure involved. Watch him start at Michigan and light it up and we're like, "that should've been us. It was us until a huge paycheck came along."

It sucks but money talks.

I am wondering about Sloan's job. We've all seen how Nuss has been under his tutelage this season.

I do think Collins and Hurley are good QBs, they're also highly rated but it's how you improve them.

I guess we'll see but I'm not liking the vibe surrounding LSU right now. I'm not saying the roof is collapsing but things need to change. Something needs to change.

I'll leave that up to the guy who gets paid $10/m a year.

The guy who gets paid $10 million a year is what needs to change. He’s not engaged with his team, his coaching hires have been terrible and his team seems to be as disinterested as he is.

I never bought that. The guy lives in Michigan. He was going to be a Wolverine or a Spartan.

Cause lsu is not dirt poor obviously and Underwood got his money so his strategy clearly worked for him. Stop repeating dumbass shite you heard on TD.
