Somebody needs to start up a "third and Chavis" thread on the SEC rant and let the Aggies know exactly what to expect. Just like the Tennessee fans did us.

Well, LSU didn't work too hard to keep him. A 30K raise when aTm was offering 350K more? He won't be as successful at aTm...they can't recruit anyone to that hellhole.

Chavis' D hasn't been truly elite since 2011, and he definitely won't have the kind of success at A&M that he's had here. Sumlin's offense and complete disregard for time of possession won't allow any DC to build a truly dominant defense. It sucks that A&M picked our guy to overpay, but that's what they're doing, and I'm glad we didn't get caught up in the arms race.
