Man you really don't know what you're talking about here. He isn't being questioned by the FBI. He isn't under investigation. He isn't accused of any crime. He was subpoenaed by the defense to possibly testify at trial. He very well might not even be called. The tapes themselves very well may be excluded.
The only thing that should concern LSU fans is a possible subsequent NCAA investigation.

Rant Pump Lump Geeks with no life what-so-ever outside of listening to BR sports talk radio, posting on message boards and attending LSU athletic events, now sounding exactly like Ole Miss fans before the NCAA lowered the hammer.

I know he’s not on trail but something could come up in that testimony that he will swear to , I’m sure they are not calling him to testify about the weather outside ...

I think most rational observers can look at the situation and say yes, Wade almost certainly has violated NCAA rules. The question becomes what will the NCAA do about it.
Will they make an example of LSU and ignore the other "blue blood" money-maker institutions? Will they also investigate UK, KU, Duke, etc. and turn their whole incredibly profitable system upside down? My guess would be something in the middle. They half-arse investigate LSU and some other programs and slap a few wrists, pretend to have cleaned up the sport a bit, move on and keep riding the NCAA bball gravy train.

Wade will have to tell the truth or risk jail time for lying to the Feds if deposed by them. Same jail risk if he lies under oath in court.
Not sure if he would have the ability or inclination to plead the 5th, if he is not under investigation at the time of questioning. May depend if he did anything illegal or just an NCAA no no. Perhaps he didn't do anything wrong, but as an LSU fan, things are becoming more concerning.

Again, this is assuming he is even actually called to testify and further that the prosecution doesn't object to a line of questioning which would simply shine light on potential NCAA violations and doesn't go to the heart of the matter, which is the criminal allegations with respect to Dawkins.

You always have a right to plead the 5th... You can't incriminate your self in any part of the judicial process

BTW I started a thread on this over a month ago asking whether the Tenn game would be the high point for Will Wade and the answer now is most definitely YES.
