Wade was been adamant that he's never done business with Dawkins. If that's the truth, I think it is because he put it out there in the public, then Wade has some outs here. It's obviously a PR nightmare but Wade can claim that he knows Dawkins was shopping kids but he still felt the contact was worth his time because Dawkins could give him a pulse on the recruiting landscape.
Unless the Feds or NCAA can prove payment, LSU and Wade need to take the bad PR and move on.

Bingo. The FBI is the most corrupt political organization after CIA and IRS and they're all paid to do "stuff" all the time... I know. And no doubt the transcript is not the total story. BUT, the release of the transcript is a key indicator that the FBI has their man, and they'll jail the Dawkins guy, no question. Wade and other coach will be coaching high school. They'll be banned from NCAA. WW might catch on in NBA though... The NCAA will start their investigation in the summer.

We are screwed either way. Whether anything ends up happening or not, now we will have to play it straight and our recruiting will suffer. Wade is a good coach but signing this level of player is college basketball.
