I was responding to a unc fan and it apparently wasn't clear. That's why I deleted the post. Quit being an a-hole

This is typical NCAA, huge FBI investigation that is getting worse and worse and this is getting attention.

Lets look at the recruits....

Smart- from BR and not only has played pickup ball with guys like Tasmin Mitchell and other former players but wants to play for his city and state.

Naz Reid- girlfriend is on the WBB team, yeah he is from NJ but he fell in love with the other recruits and the big men that have come through LSU.

Days and Williams- both Florida guys Heiar has tremendous connections in Florida with high schools coaches from his days at Chipola JC. Every major high school coach knows him in Florida, because every year not just the years they had major recruits he had to recruit. Heiar combined with Smart and Reid recruiting them everyday.

It’s the AAU coaches that are the big problem in this.

Actually, brands like Adidas is the big problem. They want the best players to go to schools they sponsor so these "agents" who lobby the AAU coaches and players is the biggest issue.

March Madness has relatively high ratings so these brands want as many teams they sponsor, to appear on TV as much as possible.. The more teams they have in the tournament and the further they go, they don't just get air time when they are playing, they are appearing in highlights, etc...

Calipari gets raked over the coals for buying one and dones but everybody just accepts the Duke "brotherhood" shite.

I for one thought it was enigmatic seeing Dook get all of these athletes these last few years.

Wonder what "sparked" this investigation. Sounds like a jealous coach calling the hotlines trying to start some sht.

Who lost Tremont? Kevin Ollie?

I think it had more to do with Thompson getting fired. I THINK he reopened his recruiting right after Thompson got fired.. And before they even hired Ewing.

Will never forget how some people from ESPN was telling people to give Ewing a chance. Sound familiar?

Lsu just had the top overall recruit in the country and a top class a few years ago. They are watching wade simply because he got a good class so quickly. Lsu compliance has been pretty on the ball as of late, so hopefully there is nothing here.

In my opinion the NCAA is equivalent to the Gestapo & and Mob organized crime. They have the power to destroy a university through any means necessary by way of illegal investigative tactics, wiretapping, etc. at will. And the head of this sanctioned quasi-criminal organization? Mark Emmert. The person who hired the one and only, Nick Saban, who is so blatant with his disregard for NCAA policies that it’s become a joke what BAMA has gotten away with under Emmerts protection. NCAA...what a frickin’ joke of an organization.

That's probably wishful thinking

The past always seems to repeat itself at LSU

Could be Western Kentucky. They were after Tremont and Wade tried to get in with Robinson. Everybody knew how Robinson ended up with WKU and Stansbury might've started pointing fingers elsewhere.

Good info here.

I know LSU and its coaches arent all spotless but it's absurd that LSU/Wade has come under suspicion just because we are finally getting a few good recruits. It's not like we're SLU or Nichols, we're a legit school with great history.

So LSU is now getting looked into for luring a few recruits with what appears to be heresy or no evidence at all and all the while this FBI report comes out with several coaches and players caught with actual physical evidence. NCAA is a fricking joke. The entire recruiting/AAU/big sponsors/one-and-done system is broken and they need to get that straight first and foremost.

Stansbury is certainly greasy enough for that to be believable.

Wouldn't it be our luck. Saban cheats for years and nothing happens. We get a good coach for one year and, bam!

They jump on will quickly with no evidence. They ignore Saban with every football player driving a charger.
