I hate it for him, and was shocked he came back, but Braswell is gonna be “just keep your turfs on till the 6th” kinda guy for most of the year. He’ll get spot starts and come in as a defensive replacement late in games, but he’s not gonna get even close to the amount of ABs this year as he got last.
Which sucks for him, because he’s the kind of guy that gets better the more ABs he gets. He’s not a guy who Jay’s gonna ask to go pinch hit late in a game when we’re down by 1 when he hasn’t hit in a week.
