I think it was predetermined to have him face one batter. Dutton was ready when the inning started.
I’m rooting for Cam to be the first guy out of the pen tomorrow.

Nah he’s gonna say “I like what I saw, I put him in to get the LH out & took him out on a positive note” blah blah blah

Johnson probably starts one of the midweek games. Just let him get his beak wet tonight.

That might actually be Cam’s role this year with how deep our pitching staff is — facing one left handed batter to start an inning.
He can’t walk multiple guys if he faces only one :)

Dutton giving up hard contact as usual. People that this was the closer

I saw him in the fall. It was cold and he was 96-98. Last time out he was 94-96. Tonight he was 92-94. I admit I’m guessing about Jay’s reasoning. But he’s definitely going in the wrong direction for some reason.

Trying to make some sense of it in my head. He's had some issues and this allowed him to leave on a high note. Short outing but may be a big confidence bump for him.

I forgot we have a couple midweek games coming up. That would be interesting.

This Cushing guy is an absolute mental midget. Really wanted him to roll 2 there

Johnson looked bummed. More so he was out of the game vs hurt

Great play, Braz! Saved a run.
