So a first year starter at QB is going to lead us all the way? One that may be a true soph? If anything, that will be our year to take some lumps. I think we have just a good of shot this year as we do any other year. That's what happens when you compete for NC's year in and year out.

What I was thinking.

This year or bust, pretty much.

I believe we go 11-1 or 10-2 and look on to a championship next year. Comparing the hopes for 2013 and 2011 is just unfair.

We are in an Odd year, home schedule favors us, and we historically do better in tuscaloosa than at home. Add a SR qb in the mix and you just described 03, 07, and 11. Well minus the game in nola. If the offense can move the chains, it will do wonders for the D. Someone on D will step up. Happens every year.

Not making ATL would be a disappointment wit a veteran QB and a very talented oline.

The best way to improve any defense is to keep them off the field...

"you must not have watched the 2012 game then. LSU hasn't lost anything to Alabama. We just didn't have a defense that could close anyone out last year."

Are you serious? Coaching blew that Bama game and most others. Les miles shitty play calling like a fake field goal on 4 n 10+ at almost mid field. Him effectively settling for a field goal in the red zone with a shitty third down call taking the ball out of metts hands. Miles lost that game. Just add it to the list of all the others he has fricked up.

What a blessing in disguise. If we hadn't, we lose to Oregon and if he's out for the year, we win it all.
What an idiot.

Personally, I don't see how anyone could be pissed about that Bama game... team played their hearts out and it was WELL COACHED.

And I won't say that LSU never has to rebuild, I think 2008 is a good example of this with the exodus of talent (and Bo) after the NC coupled with a lot of attrition during the coaching transition, but this will be a good year for us.

It'll come down to Bama v. LSU again, as always. Just hope a team in the East can step up in the event that this schedule is too much for us to make it back to ATL

Seriously, who are we? Kentucky??? Get out of here. Under Coach Miles, I don't ever see us going 6/6. I would have to see that crap to believe it. I say "no way"!!! We are LSU!!

Lee was career vs. Alabama 1 td - 7 ints... have to remind people of this every now and then...Geaux Mett, Rivers, Jennings (better group of QB's IMHO.
