I have confidence in Lee. The past 3 years have shown that with JJ, things are kinda "flat-lined." He likely isn't going to make that BIG mistake that kills you, but he just as likely won't many substantial plays that keep teams from hanging around until the end.

With JL, the offense seems to find much more of a consistent rhythm. But, you are always feel that he's one all-out blitz away from making the BIG mistake.

With that said, I hope for JJ's sake, that he is not suspended. However, some fans need to let go of JL's "sins" of 2008.

JJ/Lee or Lee/Mett. I don't think there would be a huge difference in the final record regardless.

I agree.

Lsu wins no matter who the QB is. Tigers are going to pound the rock. U can't score without the ball!

LSU won 11 games last year (as a whole) working around the QB position. They can do it again this year.

WWL Poll: Do you have confidence in Jarrett Lee's... ...ability to lead the Tigers over Oergon if Jordan Jefferson is unable to play?
I'd have more confidence if we'd been building a playbook better suited to his repretoire.
As it stands we'd have to discard read and option plays and derived constraints, or around 30% of the playbook at least imo.
I'm not sure they could fill in void in such short practice time and might be predictable running only 2/3rds of the playbook.
Hopefully the atheleticism would overcome it.

Really, I could have sworn there were other players and qbs on the field that contributed.

Nope. Lee single handedly won that game. He could have beaten Florida with a cast of high school players on the O-Line and a counterfeit version of Billy Cannon in the backfield.

True story brah.

JL disproved this theory back in 2008

A cautious yes.

I think it's a moot point. It's quite clear that the police investigation is nowhere near over, and Miles isn't willing to suspend JJ based on the few facts that are known and undisputed.

JJ is starting in a week and a half. The JL pain train just needs to accept it and move on.

As more stuff comes out, JJ could be suspended - but again, the police department is an arm of the government. They ain't doing shite quickly.

More confidence in JJ but I have confidence in Lee too.

With JJ I am usually disappointed, with Lee I am usually scared to death.

But maybe things are different for his senior year.

I read this morning that the police expect to be done investigating in a week to 10 days.

The game is in 10 days and 3 hours from now.

Miles has plenty of time to sit on the decision while the police finish their investigation.

And by doing so, Miles doesn't telegraph to Oregon who his starting QB is and can be "honestly deceptive" on the issue.

Miles is a poker player. He knows what he's doing.

Yeah the poll is hypothetical.
I have reason to believe the JJ lynch mob will be sorely disapointed before this is over.

Lee was hot and cold last year, have people forgotten? They seem to only remember the end of the UF game. There were plenty of head scratching plays too. His problem is, and always was, mental. Practice can work on that a bit, but if he is not confident, or even over confident, he'll be wishy washy like the rest of his career.

Seriously? You're bringing this lame crap to the board with your 6th post?!?

Jarrett Lee suffered through a TERRIBLE redshirt freshman season. Everyone knows it.

Tell me genius - when was the last time he threw a pick 6? Did he throw one last year? How about the year before that?

It's been two years. Give it a rest already.
