Lighting up the qb way late... Jawing... Taunting... Extra curricular bs... It's going to catch up with us if we don't watch it.

The WVU Head Coach and their classless crowd had a lot to do with the temperment of this game. The Tigers do not take kindly to having their injured players booed. The head coach of WV is caught on tape cursing at our injured players. That is inexcusable. The crowd booing our injured players is inexcusable. I have never seen that degree of poor sportsmanship in my life. They even boo'ed when T-Bob was injured.

when WV was down by about 20 and the WV player had that 50+yd gaine, he ran the LSU player down to taunt him. I dont remember the exact details, but that was the jist of it.

Obviously WVU players were talking shite, and who knows what was going through Adams mind on that play. I seriously doubt his aim was to injure Smith after a blown whistle.

as long as he doesnt get flagged for it I dont care and actually enjoy it. Its part of our game, they get into the offenses head. These guys work their arse off all year long so if they want to celebrate when they make a big play or talk a little shite more power to them.

It was definitely a late hit, but I wouldn't call it dirty. Those guys are so amped up, and Geno was continuing through his drop back motion. It's not like he was standing there with his hands on his hips. If for some reason Adams didn't hear the whistle, of course he's going to lay out the QB if all he can see is him dropping back with the ball up like he's still going to throw it.

The Alabama game is there. With SEC officials.

I love the attitude of the defense, particularly TM7. In a close game, howver, I dont want to give the refs an excuse for a taunting penalty if Alabama "needs" it.

They need to limit it to trash talking and not get in peroples faces after a hit. That becomes taunting.

On the football field he talks alot and backs it up.

Off the football field he has never been in any sort of trouble. He gives back to thhe NOLA community via football camps and such.

People get so butt jet about a game. The jawing was going back and forth. Tyrann heard it when he got beat, just like they heard it when he beat them.

Their coach set a poor example for their team with his BS crying and trash talking of college kids. A 50 year old man trash talking 18 year old boys. Yeah a real classy team they got there in WV.

Fans booed injured players. Even if they are faking, you dont know that for sure so don't act like a prick and boo.

It's football. Alot of very classy people talk trash on the field and are model citizens.

I've seen drew brees talk a bit of trash before and no one would ever call him a thug.

It's sad really

if they think he was classless, what do they think about their own fans booing every hurt tiger?
And their coach too. They are the epitome of classless.

Not surprising coming from the rant... But some of you need to grow up.

They acted like idiots with the taunting.

I can't believe the amount of pussies we have on this board( boo hoo TM7 needs to tone it down, we gonna get a penalty for that boo f'n hoo) part of the game is mental and if our trash talking gets in their head and bothers them then so be it. Ya can't be a puss all ya life I like the trash talk because I know our players can back it up & if we get a flag then we can argue that most if not all teams trash talk

The problem with this is that WVU fans, coaches and alums would sell their souls for 11 Mathieus on defense if they could do it.

Agreed and trash talking goes on in every football game. Last night was the most out of control trash talking I can remember by an LSU team and their opponent. Didn't like seeing it.

this shite is gold

quote:

The kid is a playmaker but he is not Ed reed. Ed reed is 200 pounds and this kid is a small 175. The arms crossed posturing he did on the sideline after his int that went on forever tells me all I need to know.

I also blame espn for giving him a forum to do that stuff.

quote:

LSU had several punks. Their D runs their mouth all the time. But it matches some of their fans

quote:

That #7 has to be the dirtiest player I have ever seen. Were it not for this thug holding, punching, and what ever else he could get away with, Tavon would have smoked his sorry *** for over 300 yards.

Even the LSU fans sitting nearby acknowledged his thuggery, but hey, what price victory.

quote:

It's evident you watched another game, or watched the right game with a "jaundiced" eye (sp?).

Aside from the aforementioned, the punk punched Brad Starks in the neck after Brad smoked the punk for a 20+ yard gain. This caused a fumble, leading to a short-field TD drive for LSU.

Hey, you guys won....congratulations. Alabama will smoke that little #7 booger like Tavon did, and will beat LSU. See you again in the Sugar Bowl....

I know we were supposed to play nice and try to be "SEC worthy" tonight. But if faking injuries, cheap shots, and trash talking is as prevalent in the Conference as we saw tonight, it may not be something we'd want to get involved with.

I don't know had that been a WVU player I'd been pissed they acted that way. If LSU fans aren't a little embarrassed, I'd say that's pretty telling of their fan base.

lSU was the much better team tonight no doubt but this kid has to be one of the biggest punks I've ever seen in my life. How in the world wasn't he flagged at least 5 times for taunting and getting in other players' faces?

I'm sure the refs will pick up the flag if Les just explains that to them.
