I mean it's something right? I've pretty much checked out, but I kept my tickets, etc. Since I've never seen a season better than the one we had last year, I did not know what to expect, but I damn well know it's not this. Something is very wrong, I think someone, maybe a few folks, in that building know what it is - and no one is saying.

They lost 34 players in the offseason, including 20 to the NFL.

They replaced both coordinators

Covid cut short most of the offseason.

Veteran QB got hurt and you're forced to play freshmen.

Pretty simple

And every other college football team like Bama and Clemson have to deal with the same issues but continue to be stable. Stop making excuses and playing the excuse card.

Alabama and Clemson each have 20 more scholarship players than LSU

Alabama has been with their starting QB for every game

Clemson has been with their starting QB for all but 1 game.. and they lost

You’re only partially correct. Bama and Clemson manage to keep Juniors that should go to the NFL. Idk if that is part of their contracts when they get paid but that’s one area we have failed where other top programs have not.

I have come to the realization that it’s entertainment on Saturdays. Whether they win or lose it’s just entertainment. If you learn to understand this it makes it more enjoyable. Don’t act like you have to give a shite about the players because I can promise they don’t give two shits about you or any other fan.

They’ve never dealt with this type of attrition, ever.

Clemson lost 7 guys to the nfl this offseason.

LSU has lost 17.

Lol but it’s the same

I divested myself around the time BLM was shining in the Western Sky of my Stadium. I voiced my concerns vis phone and email and was told in no uncertain terms to fuk off if you don’t like it. So happy to see I picked the right time. Good riddance.

that's a whole truckload of excuses.

Now sure, losing so many players was tough, and we all expected a bit of a down year.

But a down year doesn't mean the abomination that we're seeing this year. Our backups should be able to beat Miss State and Mizzou, and not get blown out by a very average Auburn team.

That is inexcusable.

That is definitely true, but this season is very weird. Not just for LSU either. Other teams like Oklahoma and Penn State have also fallen off of the map. Iowa State after starting with a loss to ULL has beaten Texas and Oklahoma. Notre Dame is winning the ACC. Ohio State might not even qualify for the playoff and I have no idea what is going on in the Pac-12.

Not exactly, haven’t see bama, Clemson, or any other program lose over 30 players in a season.

Clemson lost their qb for two games and had to start a true freshman. They lost one and hade to come from behind to win in the fourth on the other. Hardly the team they are with Lawrence.
