According to ESPN's College Football Live, we now have WR troubles? They say we only one "solid" guy returning...may be true. We may have new spots to fill, but not troubles...right?

oh and all this ole miss hype is pissin me off

If "troubles" means returning one of the top 10 receivers in the country (LaFell), along with the number one freshman prospect in the country, along with a former 5-star recruit who came on strong at the end of the season, as well as 2 solid redshirt freshmen who have gotten good reviews in practice, then I hope we have wide receiver "troubles" every year.

I am guessing they wanted to stray away from the obvious quarterbacks thing.

Does anyone else get annoyed when Snead brags about beating us last year?

It may take time to ID the third, fourth, and fifth guys. We have so many. It may also take time for the group as a whole to gel....but happens with any group.

Let people think this is a weakness. By season's end people will see our WRs as a strength.

On a side note....I think it is funny that Bama signs Julio and they can't stop talking about him before he takes the field.

We sign Rueben...who may not even play because we have so much talent, and yet we have WR problems.

OK...whatever.

I take it as a compliment, really. He was saying that was one of the highlights of the year. It shows that he thinks we are a big deal.

Seriously! How many years has it been since LSU had WR problems??

Lafell, Tolliver, Mitchell, Mitchell, Molton, Randall, Holliday and probably somebody that was a 4 star that I'm forgetting.

I say that's fine.. let them say what they want. I want LSU to fly under the radar with every phase of the game.

Can we get some kind of UTAH cloak?

We should take the stance that LSU will be lucky to finish 3rd in the West.

I seriously doubt Jared Mitchell plays football this year. MLB draft, first couple of rounds, for sure.

It wasn't ESPN. It was LSU's beat writer who said that on ESPN.

I agree. Jared will have a very nice contract to play baseball.

Still, there are 6 guys who could all be at least solid contributors: LaFell, Toliver, Tolliver, Chris Mitchell, Molten, and Randle. RJ Jackson could also be used as long as he stays healthy. I think most SEC teams would love to have our options at receiver.

Yeah, it is stupid to say that this is a weak point for our team when it is clearly the opposite. JJ has plenty to work with on offense no just with receivers, but a stable of backs.

Everyone is forgetting about Richard Dickson. He's one of the best receiving TEs in the SEC.

Ole Miss beating LSU is a big deal, he should brag. I'd be more annoyed if we bragged about beating Ole Miss.
