I think any fanbase of a team ranked #1 in a tournament who blew a lead at the very end to get bounced out of that tournament would be angry and maybe a little pessimistic.
Fanbases overreacting to a loss is not unique to Baton Rouge, LA.

The LSU baseball team won the west, won the SEC the final weekend of the season on the road vs. SC, and is on line for a top 8 national seeding.

No ONE CARES about the freaking sec tournament. Yes that IS what you said earlier. That is not a "fail". You are ignorant of the greatness of this team. It does nothing, NOTHING for a number 1 seed with a national seed virtually locked up. To continue to play meaningless games instead of resting and giving the pitchers necessary time off, but getting everyone some pitches in. 3 games was exactly the number of games we needed to play in, 2 would have limited pitching reps and more than 3 would be overkill. You are a moron.
