Would you trade Fournette for Mathieu this year.

At first I was like yeah...then thought about it and decided no.
Tough decision
Tough decision

That's a tough call, and having #5 back there makes it even tougher

In a heartbeat. Mathieu had that ability to change the game on defense and special teams.

So was I...
We already experienced Mathieu... Fournettes story is still unwritten greatest rb ever at LSU

Tough decision but I'd go with yes and that is a compliment to Guice.

No indeed,Mathieu was in trouble at LSU, Fournette has never been in trouble at LSU.

And you're gonna be that guy

If an opposing team has never faced Mathieu they don't know what he is so I would trade. But if a team has face Mathieu before, I would not trade because they would be ready for what he is.

They are both all time greats at LSU at their positions. But I just couldn't trade Fournette for anybody right now.

At the end of my worthless thoughts....that was my conclusion

i feel bad for saying this for some reason, but yeah, i think i would.
RB production is much easier to replicate, albeit, not on LF7's level. But Mathieu's production cannot and will not be duplicated.

Tough call but no.
Defense should be fine, Offense needs that bell-ringer.
I think.
But the special teams...wait
Thank goodness this can't be done

Some would say Mathieu was a reproduction of Ed Reed...so there's that

absolutely
we'd have a 2011 defense, a really good special teams return man, and still a good offense with guice.

Considering we have Harris as the eventual Heisman winner, yes.

No, I want to see Fournette catch Faulk's rushing record. I think the defense will be just fine this season.

Mathieu might be the greatest player LSU has ever had over his stretch.
The guy was a literal game changer in every sense of the phrase.
Not to take anything away from 7 because the guy is as special as it gets. Mathieu was just unreal.
