I'd grit my teeth in order to watch him ride off in the sunset to the College Gameday desk.

Absolutely fricking not.. I'd prefer him never win another one again and just ride off into the sunset in a few years anyway

In the past I would say yes, but he's fading out and Smart is the new douche to overcome. So no.

Saban is the modern day Joe Pa or Bowden. He has no interests/life outside of football and will probably coach till the day he dies/ gets rocked by a huge scandal/ becomes demented. He is not the guy who will be doing media job like Cowher or Mullen.

Agree. I don’t think he spent $17.5 million on a house in Jupiter, Florida to spend have 80% of the year in Tuscaloosa until he’s 80. He wants to play golf with his neighbors, Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas.

Absolutely. Another notch on their belt does nothing to bolster Bama’s stock. Now, Texas winning would be pretty bad for LSU IMO. A recent Natty is one leg up you have over a recruiting competitor coming into your conference with more money than they know what to do with.
