TT is project at 6.5 wins
LSU is projected at 9 wins.

So most likely case is you push but with him giving you 2:1 odds I'd probably take it.

If you have the money, take the bet.

LaTech won 4 games last year, but only return two of those teams on their schedule. I don't know how improved their going to be, but you're basically just betting they won't be two games better, or their schedule is two games easier.

LSU would have to slide a great deal for me to assume they lose a home game so I'd pencil them in for 7 wins before the season even starts. I'm pretty sure they've won at least 8 games every season in this century.

I'm not gonna pretend like I know a whole hell of a lot about the teams in C-USA, but Tech starts out

@ Oklahoma
@ ULL
@ North Texas
Northwestern State
@ Auburn

So that's 2 almost guaranteed losses and I'd imagine they will be underdogs at UNT and at ULL. So they could easily start the year 1-4. Can they go 5-2 through the rest of their conference schedule? Maybe. I have no idea, but I also don't think LSU does any worse than 9-3 this year, so I'd be damn tempted to take the bet getting 2:1 odds.

i think you'd win the bet, but the losing combo of forking out $2K and LSU having a 8 or fewer win season would be awful.

While I'm usually optimistic, I wouldn't just bet on 9 win or more this year. I think LSU will cover that, but there are so many unknowns on offense this year.

I met a Tech student at a bonfire in 2012. He assured me that La Tech was the best team in Louisiana by far that year. All I could do was . That kind of delusion is unrivaled by anyone I've ever met.
