I also feel like if you asked this before the regional more people would have picked Morgan. His was hitting like .370 heading into the postseason and Dugas had like 15 hrs. A big regional for Dugas and a not great one for Morgan kinda changed this scenario at the last minute.

Agreed but also he won’t play the position at the next level. He is also probably the most athletic player on the field and majority of his athletic skills are wasted at first base. I would be perfectly happy with him playing first base for LSU for the next couple of years but if I were him I would at least attempt to play outfield to showcase myself for the next level. If it doesn’t work he can always go back to first.
