Hell no, just another way for him to get hurt. Save him for the thing he came here to do.
Unless he simply begs to do it- no way! Too risky!!

Fournette and Dupre are both next level athletes, let's not act like they wouldn't be good options.

Fournette is nearly 6'2" 220.....no way

I've brought this up too. I'd think he'd be great back there a few times. He doesn't have to be the return guy, but he should be back there a few times.

Because someone wants him to return kicks? Im also really befuddled at the extreme reaction this thread is getting. Its not like he wouldnt be good at it, theyre probably better options but its not something people should be up in arms about

People are going totally retarded over this. I've seen Gurley return kicks and he's slower than Fournette (still very fast). Fournette is faster than Beckham and has lot's of agility and quick feet. Wouldn't hurt to throw him back there a few times. I've never proposed him as the sole return man, just a few times through the year. My hope was White, but seems Miles likes Adams.

I think you are an idiot. Why send him through a battering ram?

Yes, If he is the best player to do so.

Nobody had a problem with our star athletes like TM7, Pat Peterson, Mo Claiborne.....returning kicks. Tackling LF is hard enough, add the momentum him getting a running head start and he will give us great field position.

LF would be one of the few RBs who would be good. But it would put wear and tear on him, and reduce the number of snaps at RB. Quinn, Dupre, Chark and Gage is my list of newcomers. Dural and Tre White are my picks for nex year.

I would and I will tell you why. LF's only come around every blue moon. Take advantage of the opportunity to use him as much as you can especially if LSU wants to immediately start his heisman campaign. Especially now since Freshman are taking home the heisman. Goes back to when I was hoping Honey Badger would play some offense.

That's my kneejerk, but a couple of touchdowns might change my mind. Didn't Miles say Adams would get a shot?

Heellll No. We have enough athletes in this program to handle that. Keep him fresh.

I agree with DamnStrongFan. If my man gets the STs job, it will be the best man for the job...whoever he is. He must be a good hands man, too. I like that DSF mentioned vision. Must have an eye on all sides of the head. LOL!

Why send Beckham, or Holliday, or Peterson? Hell Peterson was 6'1 220 and was both KR and PR on top of being the starting corner, same with Beckham at WR.

He should get a couple returns throughout the year. Dude is big and fast and can make moves.

6-7 times during the year is not enough to do anything to him. It's the equivalent of 7 extra rushes.

Let me ask these fools who think a guy who runs a 4.42 or below at 6'1 230lb, is not good enough to run the ball back. When is the last time we've had a player crushed on returns? Where in the hell is this fear of putting a guy back there like Fournette coming from?
