.people on here have been following these kids since they were juniors in high school. It would've been mentioned.
so some people reading articles in the paper or online can define the character of an individual?
good god.

it goes alot further then reading articles. you need to visit the recruiting board more often

the police interview said none of the kidds had any priors

What he is probably saying is if there were high profile behavioral problems and issues with law enforcement, people that follow recruiting would know about it.

most of those people usually have a history of violence...none of these kids do.
One of the "victims" definitely has a history of getting in fights

unless they are hanging out with these fine young men on LSU's team during their formative years...I put little stock in any of it.
I find your need to criticize others about potential speculation, while wielding similar speculation yourself, highly amusing.
I will be interested to see your responses in the coming weeks as this story further develops....I imagine it too will provide even more entertainment.
have a great day.

all events are not high profile, all events are not "caught".
Most LEO's will tell you it is rarely the first time someone acts, that they are caught.

They had no priors, Bengal. That's fairly unusual for those with a "history of violence"--especially young men in the South.
Why do you want them to be guilty of the worst possible offense that this incident can support?

if any of the players had a history of violence it would have been well discussed and documented. thats not speculation

Most bar fights I witnessed in the past did not end with intervention from law enforcement.

I would have whipped my son's arse worse than Jordan Jefferson did for getting behind the wheel at 1:45 a.m. after spending all night at the bar.

I don't.
I actually wished for the sake of the team this never happened.
But to make wild speculation either way is just wrong. That's either speculation AGAINST them, or IN FAVOR of them.
it doesn't help anyone or anything.

Well how's this. As a fan of LSU football, and a decent human being, I hope for the best for the players involved. If they let their emotions get the best of them and ended up crossing some line, I hope they are dealt with as leniently as any first offender would be. If this is a big misunderstanding, I hope it goes the frick away.
Will you say the same?

I'll agree to that, how about you? i mean as a decent human being you should care for ALL parties involved..since the others were likely students of LSU as well.

That is hinged on how much $$$$ is thrown the accuser's way.

quote:Exactly. The only reason the victims are the "victims" at this point is because they lost the fight and were treated for minor injuries. If the marine had beat-up the LSU football players, would the players have been the victims?
depends on if my son was being a jackass and provoked it. (allegedly?)
We don't know what actions/words the "victims" engaged in that provoked the fight. Participants in a fight are rarely completely innocent. Blame can usually be assigned to all parties involved. Just because you lose the fight doesn't make you a victim and just because you win a fight doesn't make you a criminal.

Last time I checked, they're alive. Their futures aren't in danger, they sustained no debilitating injuries, and they lawyered up the moment their hangovers wore off. They got beaten the frick up on a Friday morning outside of a shitty college bar. Forgive me for not sending up 12 Hail Marys.

Somebody's son is about to get beat up by 85,000 people
