Well you must not pay attention to ball outside LSU. They were both very successful coaches that people everywhere knew.

You hire a guy who’s turned around ANY FBS program and turned them into a consistent winner. The days of poaching a winning coach from a “lesser” program at the P4 level are over in this age of NIL. Anyone can be successful with money. Rhett Lashlee? Dude has near unlimited funds and resources at SMU to get good players. LSU would be a step down. Go get a guy like the North Texas HC.
