Actual verse:
"17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them."
"17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them."

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead an not believe you on that one.
Google > how many bible verses are there where God is recommending or commanding humans to kill other humans for things he perceives as violations?
"Over 100 passages feature Yahweh explicitly commanding humans to execute others. This includes capital punishment laws for violations like working on the Sabbath (Exodus 31:14-15), worshiping other gods (Deuteronomy 17:2-5), or striking/cursing one's parents (Exodus 21:15-17). It also accounts for military mandates of total destruction against foreign populations, such as the Amalekites (1 Samuel 15:3)."
"Around 1,000 verses detail instances where God acts as the direct executioner of violent punishments Himself (such as plagues, divine fire, or the Genesis flood) rather than ordering humans to do it"

Yep yep, but hyper specific context:
quote:
15 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because the Philistines acted in vengeance and took revenge with malice in their hearts, and with ancient hostility sought to destroy Judah, 16 therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am about to stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will wipe out the Kerethites and destroy those remaining along the coast. 17 I will carry out great vengeance on them and punish them in my wrath. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I take vengeance on them.’”

Yes.
It’s consistent.
But if we still murder babies in the womb, fry the criminals.

No, I wouldn't. Too many variables in both instances for a global rule imo.

Have you seen the people reproducing these days? And you want that reproduction unfettered?
Ok…dig your own grave I guess

No.
Regardless of whether I agree with particular laws or not, I believe those decisions should be left to the state and out of the federal government.
You can't desire conservative views being pushed from a liberal perspective when it's convenient.
OP never mentioned an avenue for getting to this condition. In his scenario, maybe all states individually end cap punishment and abortion.

What does one have to do with the other?
