Would LSU consider a AAA manager from MLB?

I know recruiting would be a big question mark. These guys work mostly with kids just out of college or that signed right out of high school. What would be the advantages or dis advantages of having someone like this becoming a head coach in college baseball?

I think you hit the nail on the head....in terms of on field it would probably be top notch (although I wonder how a AAA coach would handle the pressure of true expectations outside of player development)...in terms of recruiting probably very subpar.

Minor league coaches don’t focus on winning games. It’s about developing prospects and playing the high draft picks even though they are in a 3 for 35 slump.

I think the bigger question is would a triple A manager become a college coach. They are one step away from being either a MLB manager or at least bench coach before becoming a manager.
