I agree! So many fail miserably even when they have all the cards!
Woodward is too successful in his first 4 hires at LSU to be lucky, and he might have the 10th best budget to work with. At best.
Money helps, but doesn’t do everything.

When the boosters think they know more than the AD, you’ve got problems. Give them what they want.
The right booster can be a plus, like getting an AD to the school. LSU has that.
