Would it mess up the rotation if we don’t pitch Skenes tomorrow?

Try to win with Money starting and use the bullpen. If we lose Skenes is Friday which is his normal day. If we win Skenes is Saturday which is the day he’ll pitch in the regional.

Skenes is pitching tomorrow

Doesn’t really mess it up, but throwing him doesn’t either. It’s either get more rest between sec tourney and regional or between uga and sec tourney. I can’t imagine either way matters but I’d rather get into the semifinal tomorrow and not Friday to use up more pitching. Throwing Skenes is a much higher chance of one less game played this week so you do that.

You pitch Skenes tomorrow. Anything after tomorrow is lagniappe.

Skenes needs to throw tomorrow and than he has extra rest for next week
Same thing with Floyd the next game
than if you are still alive you can throw Money and empty the tank as everyone else will be doing and try and out score people

I'd be very surprised if Skenes doesn't start tomorrow.

Skenes pitched last Thursday so tomorrow would be pitching on his normal rest plus he would have 2 extra days to rest for next Saturday’s marble game.
Skenes goes tomorrow you probably win and Floyd goes Saturday then whoever is available for Championship if you get there.
Hurd will be on 8 days rest for 1st game in regional. Skenes will be on 8 days rest for game 2. Floyd would have 7 days rest for regional championship.

This sounds like a pretty good set up.

Skenes tomorrow on normal rest, he gets an extra two days rest for a Saturday regional start.
If we win, Floyd goes Saturday on an extra days rest. Then pitches Sunday championship regional on an extra days rest.
If we lose, Floyd goes Friday on normal days rest. Then pitches Sunday championship region on two extra days rest.
You pitch Skenes and Floyd back to back in the next two games to stay consistent. Both will probably be on a 80-90 pitch count.

Why start stupid threads like this. It doesn’t matter, Skenes is starting tomorrow

Remember when pitcher's only had 3 or 4 day rest in between outings?

We’re set up well after winning today and with Skenes going tomorrow.
Win tomorrow, then go Floyd in the semifinals on Saturday, then Coleman in the championship game on Sunday.

Lol no.
Would it be fun to win this thing? sure.
Is it that important to win this thing that we should juggle around the starting rotation? frick no. Not even close.

Back when 91 was considered “bringing it”?

We used leeches to suck out the bad blood and cure diseases too.

it doesn't juggle it really though. would put both skenes and floyd on their regular weekend days for the regional.
plus, up until this morning we were talking starting floyd game 1 of the regional

No one with a brain was talking about that considering he would've been on shorter rest than Skenes.
