Absolutely! I'd love to see it again! I couldn't find it but I know I made it. I was so pissed after that Arkansas game in '07. And to think that they did it to us again this year. Unbelievable.

I like our defense. I also feel that our 2 d coordinators will continue Pelini's defense yet add more blitz packages. I think the talent is there on Defense.

That was my accurate response to a thread posted this summer discussing how LSU's defense would turn out for '08. It's hilarious to go back and see some of those horrible predictions! I'm sure I have a few other gems in there. I was right more than I was wrong, but just like the above quote, when I was wrong MAN WAS I WRONG!

Hatch will become a good QB at LSU.

There's still time.

Really.

The only thing that screwed up my predictions for the year was the R-Kansas game. I gave a shaky vote to the Tigers because I didn't think they would lose that final game at home to a weak team like the Hogs. Boy, their defensive incompetence surprised even me. Correctly predicted loses to Florida, Georgia, Bama and Ole Miss while all you cheerleaders were picking based on your heart and not your head.

I pretty much nailed the season before it happened. Saw what was coming, back in the summer and said so. I said something to the effect that the defense would be more "athletic" but not nearly as good, as effective or efficient. Based that on historical LSU defenses. Seen em all since the late 60's. I've seen what works and what doesn't. I've seen that LSU wins big time when they have that good mix of "Fast Athletes" and "Smart football players with Heart and Leadership that aren't the greatest athletes, but just make plays." The graduation of and non-replacement by Les Miles of those "SFPWHALTATGABJMP" types, combined with the replacement of Bo Pelini with that ridiculous Mallveto co-DC experiment, led me to believe that our "faster and more athletic" defense would SUCK. And, in keeping with those historical athletic LSU defenses that SUCKED, they did as well.

They'll be "Better" next year, but that's not saying much, because it can't get any worse than what we saw this past season. Hopefully, at least Chavis and Cooper will simplify things and get them away from that "Read and React" shite and into a defense that will allow the DB's and LB's to use their athletic ability to make plays instead of having to "Think" about it first. Like I said, "Better" doesn't mean "Great."

Hey, I even told you youngsters awhile back on many occasions that RP would never make it to fall practice. (He didn't).........

I predicted that Bama would have trouble with Utah (didn't say it on here so it doesn't count) and thought that would be the best BCS game. I also felt Florida would beat OU to continue the SEC BCS dominance. I thought the LSU/Georgia Tech game would be a close one but we all know how that turned out, gladly.

Alright, admit it, many of us who've started multiple threads have made some bone head predictions (I've had more than my share). What is YOUR worst (not someone else's)?
That GA Tech would roll LSU in the Chick Fil A bowl.

I had a bad feeling about that game as well. I still had hope that the Tigers would win or at least play them tough, but honestly if I had to bet I'd have bet on Ga. Tech. I was amazed at how well LSU played. The only thing keeping me from thinking Ga. Tech would cream us was that they are so one dimensional.

Thanks for sharing ATL! It's good that some of us are willing to say that we have been wrong occasionally.

I thought the Peach Bowl game vs Miami would be a tough game, but they layed down like little bitches.

They haven't been the same since. Look for them to fire that coach within 2 years. Oops! There might be another 'worst prediction!'.

(Few days after the Ark loss)

The difference between LSU and GT is about 4 TDs.

I was right, in a way.
