the reason no sec team will be in the nc game this year is bc uga (the team with the best chance, sorry florida) has the toughest schedule ever. Not only do they have a harder sec schedule than lsu does, but they play arizona state AWAY

When you play in the SEC why do you even need to schedule talented OC teams? We get enough competition in conference. We don't have a Baylor, Northwestern, Arizona or a Wash St to play in conference.

Besides it doesn't matter who we play OC. We destroyed everyone we play (ranked or unranked) LSU has only lost 4 OC games (2 were bowl losses) in this century. All loses came under Saban too.

SEC teams should never be lectured about OC opponents.

Ole Miss, Vandy and Kentucky are normally just as bad as those teams

This is the stupidest thing I ever heard. Every conference has their bad teams.

Vandy beat UGA 2 years ago, SC this year. Ole Miss ... well you got me there. Miss St won their bowl game as did Kentucky.

We never have any team as bad as the ones I mentioned.

Yep word is that the AD from Texas Tech and Verge had everything worked out for the season opener but Mike Leach did not want to come to BR to open the season.

Nor did LSU want to go there to open the season. It works both ways.

but you can't say that LSU is scared to schedule tougher OOC opponents.

Once in a blue moon, not scared. Consistently or most of the time--another story altogether.

I would like to see tough games, but 1. people don't want to play us, and B. In the SEC you can still make a BCS game if you win the conference without scheduling them.

I read an article on Auburnundercover.com and it had all of the sec teams OOC schedule and LSU does not even play anybody good. Everybody else has two tougher games and two cupcakes and LSU has 4 cupcakes. what gives?

Good thing Auburn's never done this. It might've costed them an NC appearance in 2004-2005. Oh, wait....

There is no truth to your first point and as for your second point, without V. Tech there is no BCS title last year.

Sure, if you listen to the LSU athletic department and not see what is going on everywhere else in the country.

Well you're fat.... I'm not defending the schedule, and I didn't say anything about the championship, but if we win the SEC we go to a BCS bowl.
