I hate to be the one to rain on some people's fantasies but you guys looking at losses ought to look at wins. Who did we beat this year that was a quality opponent? Wisconsin isn't exactly all that and Olé Miss has dropped considerably. That's our best wins. The rest of the wins are against bottom dwellers which is bad when 2 of them almost beat us. A good team beats other quality teams. Beating New Mexico State isn't something to be proud of.

I can't be happy with 8-4 when there's another team in our division that never loses less than two in a season.
We should be equal or superior to Alabama in every way, and in fact are, except in the coaching department.
Huh? Alabama doesn't never loses less than two a season.

Cam Cameron needs to put in work mentoring AJ and BH in the offseason.
AJ and BH have to be dedicated and put in the hours.

It is mind blowing that people truly feel this way. You have to be a truly miserable person to believe this. I may disagree, but I can live with people who have major problems with Miles and the staff, but this is a whole new level of bitching. Going out of your way to discount wins, especially to this extent, has got to be a new low.
I'd be interested to see you breakdown the reasons Alabama and Mississippi State won games as well. You can start by ignoring their win over LSU since obviously Miles lost those games more than they won them.

You need to know what you are talking about before you embarrass yourself
Bama did all they could to lose that game. Remember the missed FG? If they make that, there is no damn OT.
Miss St literally couldn't do anything to lose that game. Miles kept Harris on the bench long enough to insure there was no way LSU could come back

Wisconsin is a good win by every measure and Ole Miss has fallen off because of the Treadwell injury along with the agonizing loss to Auburn. I know it is standard operating procedure to discount any and everything LSU does with Miles at the helm, but those are two very good wins.

Leave it to an LSU fan to go out of their way to discount any success the team has.

When Bama has an elite coach, they will likely be better than LSU. It might not be every year, but on the whole.
They have tradition and a national reputation that LSU doesn't quite have. We're close recently and in the ballpark historically, but not quite there.
Look at the recruiting rankings and the results for Bama. The rest of the SEC aren't exactly dialing it in either. They are hiring (or attempting to hire) elite coaches. They're spending huge dollars on their programs and facilities. We've only had to worry about Bama, Auburn, and Florida in most years. Now A&M, Ole Miss, and MSU are fighting for it. Arky always give us problems.
This is a tough damn division and conference. I agree with the QB criticisms, but Les is a damn strong coach and has done a great job.
He just isn't Bama and Saban. Saban + LSU would be similar against Saban + Bama as Les.

Miss St.- Beat LSU with a QB that LSU mis-evaluated/rejected. Controlling the line and stopping LSU's one dimensional offense with the inept QB that was mis-evaluated.
Bama- Beat LSU with consistent QB play making the least amount of mistakes. Their QB, while not impressive, still worked on an offense that showed tolerable balance between the run and pass. This was a game that showed how to handle a hole at QB.
Malzahn is a guy who shows how to find success from nothing...take UGA's reject DB and turn him into a QB when there wasn't anything else better to look at. Yes, i'm aware he was a QB in high school. Why can't this staff do things like that.
I can't be very excited about LSU becoming the IOWA of the SEC.

Its just ridiculous how close this team really was to being up there with everybody else. About 25% more accuracy throwing and a MLB. Maybe sprinkle in a few of those read options and you have a bad arse squad. Cant be anything but excited for next year. Hope the O-Line can remain strong. Thats huge.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that will always be the case. Saban is the best coach in the country and he isn't coming back.
