I thought I told you I was the new pickleball coach?
You did tell me, damn, I forgot.

We need to get you that 10/100 guaranteed contract before Woody is gone.

So confident yet you are so wrong.

Basketball is a money maker, and could potentially make even more money if we were good

He’s had some major success going back to Washington and don’t forget, he was a part of the Saban hiring here

Brian Kelly - fail
Matt McMahon - so far a fail

The two most important and he blew them.

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t get the Woodward hate.

We have the best baseball program in the country thanks to him, and high in women’s basketball.

Hiring Kelly in hindsight didn’t work out, but he was the best candidate available in that cycle. I don’t know what you want him to do.

The only whiff in my book is McMahon. Woodward has been a great AD, LSU is a leader at a lot of sports. I’d be pissed if we lost him

Saban hired by LSU in November of 1999. Woodward hired by Emmert in 2000.

from Woodward's bio at lsusports.net:

"From 2000-2004, Woodward served as the Director of External Affairs at LSU. Woodward helped lead the university to unprecedented economic growth, paving the way for its move from a Tier II to Tier I research institution. Woodward also served as the Chancellor’s representative to the athletics department."

The time frame suggests that Woodward was not instrumental in the hiring process for Saban as he was not employed by LSU at the time of said hiring.
