And he got rid of Tommy Moffitt right away.
A&M made a good move.

I think Davis realizes his days are numbered with the Tigers and he is trying to figure out where he will coach next.
He's an experienced coach and regardless of how his line played this season, he will indeed surface somewhere else.

I am telling you what happened in the meeting prior to his firing. Woodward was told to fire certain staff, including Davis. He objected. This is fact.
Your posts don’t match.
Who wanted to keep Davis
I have seen it both ways but the general consensus is Woodward wanted Sloan fired and Kelly said Davis and maybe others.
Either the athletic or Wilson Alexander said directly that Woodward had “significant input” on this defensive staff.

He is saying in the meeting after the a&m game that kelly wanted Davis gone and Woodward refused.
Supposedly kelly had tried to fire him before.
This is a mess. Scott Woodward was meddling too much. He gave bo Pelini a 3 yr 8 mil contract for no reason.

So Scott didn’t allow BK to fire Brad long before the A&M game?

No it wasn’t. Woodward wanted Joe Sloan fired and Kelly said no, Kelly wanted to let Davis go

I know Mike Scarborough said that Woodward was in the football building everyday. Football is the only sport at LSU where the AD is involved the day to day and not so much basketball or baseball, etc.
