He doesn’t directly control them but coming off a national title and goat season ever was the perfect time to wine and dine the board into doing what is needed to stop the insane suspensions for weed. Scott is suppose to be politically savvy.

Woody could start by staying out of assistant hiring.

How is that working out for Auburn? Steele may end up with the job like LSU ended up with O.

You would have to believe that Verge, Miriam, Lewis, Craig all knew of various incidents and none of them spoke to O.

Possible? Sure.

Likely no.

If O gets got it’ll be over Guice. Miriam took one of the victims to university police and in violation of Title IX failed to report. It’s ludicrous to suggest O didn’t know any of that.

Plausible deniability..

When Woody stepped into office. It was said his goals were to:

- Gut compliance dept
- Improve tailgating and fan experience and look at Infrarmark contract
- Womens basketball
- Keep and support Wade

How would it look to the NCAA if he were to “gut the compliance dept”?
Nothing is happening to Fargas this year with COVID’s effect on cash.
He wasn’t in danger of losing Wade. No program is touching Wade with the allegations unresolved. Woodward is letting things play out. If it blows over then he has to deliver in Wade’s facilities improvement wants.

So far Woodward has been underwhelming.

Don’t the he ever said any of that and if TD is where you come for your ‘facts’ you are in for a lifetime of disappointment.

Title IX don’t care. It’s an absolute must report. If you know you must. There is no gray area.

It depends on the public perception. The outcry seems to have calmed down atm. We have to see what the investigation brings. Just because USA Today doesn’t have knowledge of what o knew doesn’t mean he didn’t know what was happening. Who knows what the implicated individuals will say now. Maybe there’s nothing. We’ll see.

If it turns out that O knew about the cover up, there won't be a buy out.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, Art Briles received a $15.1 payout from Baylor when he was fired for cause for the covering up of rape/rape allegations.
